A Market by the sea! Let the sounds of the live music in the park form your sound backdrop as you wander through the stalls that line The Esplanade. The section of the roadway between Derwent St and Trent St will be closed to traffic and will be crowded with market stalls - from local art and crafts, fresh food, clothing, jewelry and ethnic goods. Eat your gelato or pizza while sitting on the sea wall, and watch the blessing of the boats. Or take the plunge with one of the many sea-based activities on the shore, before you return to shop some more!
